CWA Local 6400 will participate in the 2026 CWA District 6 Conference in San Antonio, Texas. The conference brings together CWA locals from across District 6 for union business, updates, education, and discussion of issues affecting members throughout the district.

The conference is expected to begin by 9:00 AM on Monday, October 12, and conclude no later than 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 14. A full agenda will be released closer to the conference.

Local 6400 delegates, alternates, and authorized guests attending the conference must register individually. Registration closes Friday, September 18, 2026. A conference hotel room block is also available at the Holiday Inn San Antonio Riverwalk.

CWA District 6 will hold its New Officers Training in Austin, Texas, for recently elected or reelected Local officers. The week-long training is designed for both newly elected officers and experienced officers who would like to refresh their knowledge and skills as CWA Local leaders.

Attendees should plan to arrive on Sunday, January 31, with training beginning Monday morning. The school will conclude no later than 12:00 PM on Friday, February 5.

The training is open to eligible officers from all Locals and Sectors within District 6. The cost is $75 per participant, which covers training materials. Additional information about registration, accommodations, and booking travel will be provided by District 6 closer to the training.
