Officer Reports

President’s Report
- Membership report: since last month we have had 15 new sign ups with MSW and 2 from UWD
- Our nominations for the e-board is over. President, Vice President, and Secretary/Treasurer positons were won by acclamation. Our VP of Missouri State Workers had two nominations and this month I will put an info sheet online for people to look over before vote happens in November.
Vice President’s Report
- Carson will be calling stewards to set up monthly meetings and get to know you all.
Treasurer’s Report
- Beginning bank account (since 7/1/26): $24258
- Spent (this does not include payroll and dues paid to national)
  - Squarespace: $39 (hosts website)
  - Cider Gallery $235 (rent)
  - Adobe $40 (for creating, signing, changing PDF
  - Quickbooks $114 (finance tracking)
  - Mailchimp $20 (email hosting)
  - Barker $46 (food and drink for interviews)
  - ATT $280.52 (not the bill, this is for the phone and accoutrement)
- Ending bank account: 17749.98 (as referenced last meeting, we had a large dues payment waiting to deposit, it has now gone through hence the significant difference between beginning and ending back numbers.
Secretary’s Report: NA
Steward / Committee Reports:
- Finance and Budget: Chaired by Treasurer
  - Once Treasurer is signed in regular meetings will begin
  - 2 additional people
- Constitution and Bylaws: Chaired by EVP
  - 3 additional people
- Steward: Chaired by EVP
  - All stewards on this committee
- Organizing: all units need a committee
- Bargaining: all units need a committee
- Contract Enforcement all units a need a committee
- Membership engagement: Chaired by President
  - 1 person from every unit

Tanya and steward training:
- Deciding between Oct 20th and 21st
  - Not everyone responded but the 20th seems the preferred day. I will send this to Tanya so she can schedule.

Upcoming actions/events: All through October we are asking people to take part in our phone banking for state elections. We have many reps and senators that support CWA that we are supporting. If you are interested please let me know and I’ll send you the sign up information.
Training opportunities: Along with the steward training in October, Missouri State Workers will have an opportunity to take a steward training on December 5th
I will send out a text reminder, but please check our website for information on MSW VP nominees.
